If you take up martial arts lesson - does that make you a pussy who can't defend itself otherwise? Or someone with an overkill syndrome only looking to smash the pulp out of everyone he meets? Or would it be closer to a search of self-mastery ... Your call. I already got my own opinion on the topic. Oh - and the game is not about using jedi mind tricks to get laid. Martial arts have a bunch of legit applications, from defending yourself to competing for sport. What I'd be against, in regards to martial arts, is exploiting people; using your skills to kick someone's ass and steal their wallet, or intimidate them into giving you things you haven't earned. PUA tricks are like con-artist skills. Yeah, they're a skill, but their only use is to trick others into giving them something that they wouldn't be able to get. I'm very much against manipulation and lying, and hate disshonest people with a passion. |
