 Coolness: 159205 | Wow, that's crazy. It is creepy but I'm surprized how well it works. The reaction speed of this robot is amazing. Locomotion is taken for granted for animal but this thing has to calculate like map and compensate for everything when it looses its footing.
I can imagine the military implication of it though : equip it with kevlar shielding, an exploding payload and send it running like a horse into a building full of terrorists of your choice. BOOM. Man, I play way too many first-person shooters to NOT see the real world implications of this thing. |

armed with gun and ultra shielded, ir could be a real all terrain war machine. and at this size could be used to scout or something, even transporting war gear to hidden/secret places. |

| Coolness: 159205 | It's a good idea Jojo but the thing is you'll need to equip this thing with 6 gatlings guns AND ammo PLUS equip it with enough hardware to mount them on, swivel them and make them target approriately and software for targeting purposes.
1. waaaaaaaaaay too costly and 2. can you imagine how HEAVY this thing would be ? By the time it gets to where it needs to be killing, it'll be pelted with numerous grenades and rocket launchers. In essence, a huge expensive FAIL. It'll ultimately get destroyed anyway so why not beat the enemies to a punch and have that thing blow up in their unsuspecting faces ? |

Then maybe with only one gatling gun. but that can go 360 degree and up and down. no need of targeting software, just fire everywhere at 3600 rounds a minutes. could have numerous model. you know one like your idea, one like mine, easily changeable on the spot for maximum versatility and effectiveness! |

No guns dude, no guns. This thing is huge because of the onboard computer that is needed to calculate its movements, moving its limbs and such. Put a gatling guns on there and it'll spend all of its time adjusting to recoil while firing. So, FORGET about moving when this thing is firing. Therefore, no movement while firing = sitting duck. Not viable. Damn, I should go work for the military... |

| Coolness: 295060 | Yeah but the proce of all the hardware put in that robot doesn't make it cost effectif when you only want to blow it up.
a sphere robot, like the morph ball in metroid would be better Pack with explosif in the middle, all the engine and wheel to make it run would be inside a shell of an armor... |
