attendees: great , venue: ok , management: half alright and other half very bad , sounbd: shit , other: they hate when you play hardcore and they are very insulting about it ... + the old creepy hippy factor anyway, go figure it out for yourself...if you have already, then you should be aware of all this stuff. What else is there to know? |

But that's a question of interpretation : I might've gotten there, saw the psychedelic decor and thought to myself " what the f**k is this ? What have I gotten myself into this time " while other can practically call it home (Lord knows why but whatever). That's what I was saying : this is YET ANOTHER thread that will end up in bitch wars, " I LOVE THE PLACE, STOP BASHING IT " and " get a life...and a bath you friggin' tree hugger ". The results are going to be the same as starting a thread about " DJ WOOD : do you think he's a swell guy or a kid that skipped english class once too many ". So why even try ? I never thought I'd say this but I would've preferred for this thread to be about glow-in-the-dark cats and how they will revolutionize the rave since and quite possibly cure the all of world's problems. |

2 hours before the show they call me up to ask me to bring some more speakers. As it was I was already supplying my techs and mixer for the gig Then me and my crew had to show their sound guy how to hook shit up. But I guess you get what you pay for we did get the venue for free, but hell I'd much rather shell out cash for a venue that is equipped these days. And someone stole my fuckin headphones |
