| I find credit cards are only a problem if you don't pay them off. If you use them responsibly they can be quite useful, but it is easy to get stuck in the "free money" mentality. I've had a 0 balence on a 3000$ limit card for months. |

its a much lower interest rate but its WAY easier to go and grab some extra cash from.. i had one, and had to close it because it was growing to fast !!! |

| I don't get charged anything up front, but they begin charging interest on the cash advance the moment you take it out, as opposed to after the 30 day term |

the crazy thing about that is that most credit card companies are now doing that when you carry a ballance too, so if you don't pay off your charges in full every month then it becomes like a cash advance, fucking bastards... |
