I dunno. I wasn't on anything and I'm almost 100% certain that that was Semen in the bathroom, knocking on the door while he was in there, 'cause I said hit to him when he came out and he looked at me funny and walked away really fast. :) |

There have been many interesting points raised about how people interpreted this, our first anniversary. Most of the aforementioned were not explicitly stated but rather subconsciously implied throughout the candid discourse above. But please, if you will for the amusement of the court. What exactly was this party all about to you personally?
The night in its entirety was the epitome of the carnival complete with frightening roller coaster rides and an abundance of characters prancing about with uninhibited abandon. While at times the latter were somewhat amusing, I cannot honestly say some of which could certainly be done without. It can never be stated too often, come to contribute not to consume. iDJ loves you all but… Who goes to a party and shits on the floor? I simply cannot fathom the nerve of this person; shame on you. I certainly hope that you can find it in your heart to somehow make it up to Galaksy who found himself with the unfortunately task of cleaning up your mess. I understand that not everyone is currently enjoying his or her state of being. Altered minds can certainly be an enjoyable holiday when pure thought becomes the scariest high of all. With this in mind, I would like you to take a moment to consider what the ramifications of your actions could possibly mean to your community. Please do not come to our events to destroy yourself. We do not frown upon use. We frown upon abuse. Moderation is definitely the key to longevity in all that you do. Just because you enjoy the taste of chocolate cake does not mean that you have to eat it everyday. What am I supposed to do when someone misbehaves at our events? Kick them out into –40 degree weather? We throw our parties in the face of adversity, as we thumb our collective noses at authority. Do not make us regret the effort that we put forth simply to entertain you. Two hundred thirty nine words and I have yet to mention anything about the music… … D-Joos and Galaksy were solid as per the usual and Axionfigga and Jada warmed up the place nicely. … A big up goes out to our guests from Pittsburgh (Bagel, Midas, MPS, and Ra) as well as hometown radio star, Phuz; a solid effort from everyone in the place. These are definitely stand-up gentlemen who deserve a round of applause for their patience within the precariously placed deejay booth. I take full responsibility for the poor set-up and I promise to strive to rectify the problem for all our future events. I certainly paid the price for my disgustingly sloppy excuse for a deejay booth, as I threw down a disgustingly sloppy set. I apologize. For those of you who have been to previous iDJ events or regularly come out to Blue Dog, you know what I am capable of; that set was definitely an uncharacteristic display and one that I hope we can all soon forget. I bow my head in shame. Come out early to Blue Dog or better yet late in the chill room at Kemal this Friday and I will make up for past mistakes. Anything else… |

No need to apologize, accomplice.
Your post was very respectable , intelligent and to read. Your very right on many levels. We learn from our mistakes and whatever we did wrong.. we know what and what not to do in the future.. |

That was a clever-constructive comment from Accomplice.
Just don't be too hard on yourself, regarding the set-up and your set. You always rock on the decks whether you agree or not. As for the vibe at idj ; i know that everyone in here that shows up to In Da Jungle monthly's are pretty responsible and wise partiers. They're important to the party ; they bring in good vibrations.... Sure we always end up having a couple retards inside, mostly people that comes out of the bars, drunk as hell..... But that's the difference between having 100 persons and lose a lot of money and having a little more, including a couple non-inspiring weirdos, and be able to pay ourselves great guests like these Pittsburgh guys... Its all about creating good vibes, and the ravewave friends in here are helping out alot at each and every single In Da Jungle Werd to y'all !! THanks !! Keep on the good work !! Bring in wise-responsible people with ya in the adventure ... And just come tell us when some suspect-weird bad-vibes characters are around.. By making it a monthly event,it is normal to have some sketchy ones.....but the basis of the crowd is wonderful and stronger than the ones that comes in just to have a place where to abuse drugs.... Lets step ahead to the next one...march 15th Bring your smiles and ego-less attitudes....dance ...and enjoy !! Peace I'm so gothic i'm dead |

Yeah, the setup was a bit shaky but it is no big deal. Sometimes party setups arent so kickass and everyone sounds like crap. There have been times in the past where its been so bad that I have put signs up on the dj booth that say things like 'yes, we know how to use the pitch, we're having technical issues'.
Whenever the time comes (hopefully when it is warm), we'll definately come back up and represent a much tighter sound. There are a ton of original beats in the works down here in the 412 so be prepared for some proper drops next time mother grabbers!!! big ups to simon, seb (and valerie's bomb cooking), guillaume, all the other djs and the nice crowd that came out. and that guy with the radio show (sorry, i forgot your name, proper show though :) everybody was super cool and the word is spreading around the US about just how cool the MTL massive is. je me penshe! (penche? i learned how to say 'i am bent' en francais.... although i did not learn how to spell it) mike snyder [ 412dnb.com ] p.s. i cant believe someone shat on the floor, that is some really weak shit p.p.s. we really did almost sleep thru the show. even one of our hosts simon crashed with us. it was hilarious. |

Ok... time to talk about that CD... and DJ Ra's.... I brought them home after the party, in a bag also containing the microphone and some food. I know I brought the bag inside, as when I woke up in the afternoon, the food containers were right there and empty. I remember putting the CDs in the bag before opening the door in the front. Well guess what... I've been looking for that bag ever since sunday, consequently hoping to find the 2 CDs I haven't listened to yet AND the microphone....! |

No man- that's what makes it so Dossiers Mystère and shit- IT'S IN MY HOUSE SOMEWHERE!
Like, call Mulder and Scully or something. I am so desperate to find that bag that I have looked everywhere- including the cupboard, and the washing machine.... |
