 Coolness: 121065 | first off, max props to all that made it out in the -2000 artic weather we ve been having,
we had planned on getting a fan but the deep freeze effected our brains during the set up process so ofcourse we forgot it... the different set up worked well except for the bouncy/skip factor...i thought the sound was perfect, people could still be in the heat of the action and still converse...chill room was hype, actually had more fun spinning there (only mixer tech difficulty which was better than main room probs) iDJ family keeps on getting better, next events still gonna come through with some brand new funk, origal concepts, we DO need spaces tho, so if youve got any suggestions pls email us mtlidj@hotmail.com (chantal can u give me a ring? i d like to check WBC) havent checked the cd yet, but great score (we got an ad up in their January mag alongside all sorts of wicked UK events)and Midas' cd is solid2 >cool to see the U S dudes hang out after their sets, you d be surprised at how many guests we have simply jet as soon as they get their $ finally i d like to say that Galaksy's post was perfectly on point, we had some bad apples and a fewtoo many people that came to consume and not contribute, so if people can give them a fake party address next time that would be slick + digitalcam back in effect next idj14 party+ [ www.mtlidj.lack.ca ] +Horizons Sundays back in effect as soon as the hot comes back+ |

 Coolness: 63935 | overall i had fun....happy to see some people that i hadn't seen for a while. the chill room was really nice, i liked all the plants.
i had fun dancing even though it was a wee bit toasty in there (better than the -40 outside though)until the encounter with slimy dude standing on the side of the dance floor. that kinda killed my vibe unfortunately. i want to say a big thank you to everyone that works so hard to put these parties together, from the location to the music, the clean up, the door peoples (Valerie is always so nice).....all the little details that have to be taken care of to let everyone else party and have a blast. i really appreciate it all. so i hope to see all the familiar faces and new ones at kemal on friday and at the next IDJ....i hope the month flys by..... |

| Coolness: 202145 | I didn't go into the chill room.. it looked kinda small.. and I was scared to enter in it hehe. It was cool though, I was in the middle of the small halway thing, listening to the music in the main room and the music in the chill room. It sounded cool all mixed together. |
