ideally i would love to have a kid of my own one day (not soon) and adopt a kid. not even a baby, just to give them a chance they would never have being raised by the system |

 Coolness: 52300 | I think that it clearly depends on how the kids are going to raise the kid. If you're fully against abortions, you're 14 and pregnant, it would probably be ideal to have parents help raise the baby so that the teenage parents can finish school. Some would probably argue that it's quite the burden on the parents of the teenage parents, but at least the baby should be given a good life. Adoption's also another option for teenage pregnancy.
Doesn't matter how old you are, whether you're 14 or 30. Make sure the baby can have a good life and that you finish your education and I don't have a problem with any of it. Of course, it's never my place to tell somebody that they aren't fit to be parents. |

You think sex is just sex but sex comes responsibility in so many matters. Aids prevention, deeper relationship levels, and the posibility of a kid.
having a kid dump ther child to there parents has many things wrong. The child will never consider the real mom the mom. the parents will. plus your dumping it on parents,because your afraid to have someone clamp it up inside you. if you can go to gyno for your yearly, an abortion isnt that difficult. In my oinion from personal experience. I didnt have sex untill I was done highschool. its not like my boyfriends in highschool pressured me and if they wont date me unless i have sex with them, then there not good enough for me A parents gets a baby dumped on them to raise, well think about the parents, they worked their entire lifes providing and look for ward to returement and such and then their kid does this Abortions are free in canada or require a donation Im turning 22 in 3 months and im THE only person from ym graduating class who does have at least 1 child and some of them have 3 And they all from back in my hometown always say wow your so acocmplished, big city chick, blah blah While they work at subway,pizza place or walmart They say they will finish their schol and none of them have It seems your too busy untill they are old enough, and you feel the drive to get better education and provide better But alot of epople will never push themselves And then get stuck paycheque to paycheque its not fair You only live once. you should be able to accomplish your goals, and do what you have dreamed/hoped of doing |

 Coolness: 685575 | The "problem" with moralising things like when is old enough to have sex, is that you need to factor in human evolution. 300-400 years ago, a person was lucky to live to 40 years old. Puberty happens for a reason, and that reason is to reproduce and keep the species alive. Setting an age at which you're "allowed" to have sex was plain and simple a tactic for religion to make money.
Pre-marital sex is a sin; marriage costs money. If you commit a sin, you have to go to confession; confession used to cost money. Sex without the intent to reproduce is a sin, so people have lots of babies; baptism costs money. Now what all this has in common, is that our bodies are physicaly "programed" for sex when puberty kicks in. The church and the catholic/christian religion have been exploiting sex and our bodies' natural impulses for money for way longer than the porn industry and prostitution have existed. The only reason people "aren't ready" or "aren't mature enough" to raise a child at 11 years old is because everything has been dictated around this religiously-imposed barrier of 18/21 years old (depending on where you're from). 300 years ago, 11 year olds were having children and not having any problems raising them. The problem is that "kids" can't get a job to provid for themselves/their children because the rest of the world judges them to not be ready. Things like cartoons, video games, comic books, are the reason that "kids" aren't prepared to raise a child when puberty kicks in. They're provided for, they aren't taught that they have to hold their own in the world untill much later in life. Before that, they're kept oblivious to how hard the world is, that they're not going to be babied on their whole lives. Do you think that, 300 years ago, kids had time to play? 1000 years ago, did children have toys or entertainment like we do today; they grew up with death and dissease, poverty and famine was the norm and not the exception. There wasn't a school-system or an education system like there is today. Evolution takes millions of years for a species to change, and we're still programed the way we were when our species would only live 30-40 years. Genetics doesn't factor in recent advances in medicine, things like the fact that now, more children live through birth and their early childhood than ever before in history. Even as close as 150 years ago, people had to have large families because most of the children wouldn't make it into early childhood due to dissease. The problem is not that children shouldn't be having sex at a "young" age, but that we're denying that our bodies are programed to NEED to have sex at a young age. |

i don't think that because young people(let's say 16yo) have sexual intercourse means that everybody get pregnant... i don't want to talk about personal stuff here but i do know alot of people from my generation who started to be interest about sex at 13 yo but were not going all the way to the extreme non-return act... i think that in a sexual education that's the best.. to go on a gradual rythm.. like you can do stuff at 13 yo and at 18 yo you do maybe more because you'r ready.. you know the body of a man and yourself better.. i couldn't believe some story that i ear of girls who says to me that first time they saw a dick it's when they lost their virginity.. how sad is this??? alot for me!!! it's really give me chill when i ear that 13 yo girl have sexe dogystyle... where is the fun of the body discovery??? where is the excitement of the touch peepee romance??! :( anyway i always tought that a girl should have sex when she feel ready and is able to give herself an orgasm and is experiment with her secret temple. like let say it raw when the body of a girl can be wet easily i think there's the real proof that she's ready to take it. i'm a married woman now and i'm 24.. i still don't feel ready to have a baby... i start to love alot to play with my baby's friends.. i think it's a wonderfull experience but also it's imply so many change in a life... i want to have a baby when i finish my study so like that if something happen to my husband i wouldn't be in deep shit.. i think that 30 yo is a beautifull age to get pregnant! :)))) i can't wait to see the mix of me and my lovers in an other human... awwww it's gonna be a cuuuuuute baby! it's so crazy when u really think about it!!
