Weird Question For All Producers

true that... but i'm not talking drums either...
alot of the time for leads and stuff i find you can get better sounding results if you just play it right the first time. so everthing doesn't have to be all 8's and 16's. as far as mixing to a live drummer... i've done it a buncha times and i love it!! as long as the drummer is tight its a mad good time.

The drums have to have a consistant timing but you can do all kinds of stuff with the synths on top of them. I hate breakdowns in electronic music... It's like why waste a minute not playing the music? I'd rather the track be banging the wholet time. |

yeah really depoend on what you are looping...
and what is the main vibe of the track and how long your loop is... like i just made a track with the main lead patern is 16 bars long and i looped 3 times, 1 in the breakdown, 1 when the beat goes on, and 1 with glitches in the beat so that part is 1:50 with the same synth... seems long but the way the song is made its perfect, less would be too shot of melodies!
I'm feeling in lawve right now.. |

geeze theach us something we dont already know, this thread starts to look more like the journal de montreal than anything REAL CONSTRUCTIVE AND NOT STAGNANT.
i think of the best sixsixtysix recording sss006 DDT-DRIL A HOLE PILEDRIVER-TRACK A2 HYSTERIA, like this "IS" over exploited bars that doesnt really have a "fin de bar" that halt-step to ease the looping hysteresis discharge so you doesnt get a silence either... this PARTICULAR track just show you how retrigging work almost, cus its so much use and reuse and abuse to create a hysterical buildup so the name wil be just proper to the regards of the construction of the track. so tell me how in being already over abused too much looped this track can be soothing to my ears as much as a kplan -attack- track or a zone-33 or french core track or a frenchcore track? compare to IMHO again to some minimal english tecno were you get killer pumpy groove but minimal transitions??! this is all to me a questions of using DRUM fundamentals, like a game of chess all parts could just move one square but doing so you break the buity of the math, the geometry and at same time esthetical aspect. like in real life you got fasho pretending aspects as well as timid or friendly "you feel the share and connection" aspects of a flow. if you lock yourself in a 4/4 bar you get roawdy redneck leading nowhere than this shit town ortho/cosangain feel of you could get 4/4 micro lab works, again another flavour, or there is that point to in your work where you could get 5 minuts of complete unique recording whre at some point there is so repetition where everything is at some point there more to this in that way than some closed ideas comment im reading here ... "read in between the lines, you get twice for your cash" i dunno why i wrote last comment sorry the oubvious always makes me laughts cheers!! neko "ntk on boit tout!"
