yeah, it's confirmed. They're bringing back a lot of really classic games, even games that haven't had any sequels since snes or nes. I reject the idea that Nintendo is becomming a family console. On the GC they really started to recover from n64 when no one was makign any good games for them, they relaly strengthen their bonds and I can assure you that Nintendo has absolutely no intention what so ever of losing the current audience and I assure you 100% that they are trying to apperal to more hardcore gamers and not less. Luckily considering the number of developers and the number of developers they currently have contracts with they can easily do both at once. Plus, from what I gather, the nunchuck part (the one that attatches to the remote with the analog stick on it) is ALSO motion/angle/whatever sensitive, so in games like Zelda, your remote is your sword, and the chuck not only walks you around with the analog stick, but it also acts as your shield to block hits!!
In some videos where they talk about the new Madden game, they mention that with the remote, you look around and throw the ball, and with the nunchuck, the stick makes you run around, but like if you're gonna get tackled from the side or whatever, you can jerk the thing a little left or right to hop out of the way.. As cool as the other systems look and handle, I've got a feeling that Nintendo is probably gonna make a sick comeback as one of the dominating forces in the current world of Playstations and Xboxes. |
