| Coolness: 685600 | Well, not so much that it's gonna be crap, just that it's not going to sell in a way that would bring them a profit. I don't remember all the links, but there's a ton of them talking about how sony had to take something like a 6 billion dollar loan to manufacture them, and the retail price is currently set at $699 US, and that doesn't come with a game! For the price of a PS3 with 1 game, you could get a loaded Xbox 360 AND a Wii, and have money left over to buy 2 games for each.
heh it's too bad they don't have a mac version coded yet, there's a game I found called Super Mario War that's fucking sick. It's like the original Mario Bros game (like the VS battles in Mario 3) except that you can play up to 4 player games.. It's mario with deathmatch! |

Just read the early pricing info, things are gonna be siiiick! Since the Wii is gonna be an emulator also, you can download and play all the old NES, SNES and N64 games, a few Genesis and TurboGraphix 16 games, plus any game-cube games! The downloadable games are gonna be between 5-10$ each.. Totally fucking cool! (not that anyone with a computer can't play most of those anyways, [ www.romhustler.org ]  ) |

IT would be cool if Rockstar Games did a Manhunt 2, and you actually have to do the stabbing, beating with a bat, all the killing motions...it would be controversial but controversy is good publicity. The Wiimote (god that sounds so gay) was originally concieved not just to be a technological step, but to make it resemble standard TV/VCR/DVD player remotes so that people would be less intimidated by them than, say, a HUGE joypad will all sorts of analog sticks and D-pads and like 10 buttons on it.. |

| Coolness: 685600 | The Xbox 360 is not 100% backwards compatible, but you can check on the official site to see which games are compatible. You need net acces for the compatibility, 'cause each game has a new set of textures to make it look nicer in HD modes.. The games for it are supposed to be really good, Dead Rising is supposed to be amazing.. |
