The best though are the 24h hotdog/poutine places! Right across the street from Sacre Coeur (near Spot Bowling) has Paulo et Suzane, and in Verdun, on Verdun near where Reggie used to live is Pierrete Pattate, 50 cent hotdogs and poutines are 3.50-5.50 in 1$ increments for small, med. and large.
I'm feeling confused right now..

heh yeah, but the place is still one of the best! They'd make this amazing poutine for me and Louis, italian poutine (so it's meat-sauce instead of the regular gravy, and it was meaty as FUCK!) with bacon. Every once in a while when I lived at my mother's place, I'd go there on the night bus at like 2-3 am, eat, and be back at spot bowling just in time to catch the bus back home!
I'm feeling confused right now..

I'll have to go with Mile-End. I have at least one complaint about every neighbourhood except there, can't think of a better place to live. It's got everything.. bagels, librairies, parks, every kind of store you can possibly imagine, good bars and most of all it's a quiet and safe place that's also close to downtown.. no crackheads in sight.

I live two streets away from Centre Fractal. I like the Villeray neighborhood. Calm enough, a big-ass park (Jarry) and all the conveniences.
I'm feeling tsathoggual right now..

To live, Hochee too... cheap and trashy... I live'd in the plateau and did'nt like it. If you're weird just a bit, pepeole stare/look down at you... But not in H-M. You can't be weirder thant the locals.

To hang out, St-Cath from St-Lau to St-Denis, and St-Denis from St-Cath to Sherbrooke. Everythings you might need there...

It's all about place hochila
J'y suis né là mais ça commence à s'embourgeoiser c'est la venue de plateauchelaga, ça ne sera plus vivable dans 10 ans. Les hipster s'approprient des quartiers populaire et te stérilisent ça c'est pas long.

the Hochi-lager

best south east asian food is uptown!

on my days off from work i usually take random walks through the old port and griffintown
went to the Yves Laroche Gallery two days ago
alot of DOPE stuff there... even a few Dalek and Turf One pieces for those who are in the know

griffintown is starting to suck big time now with all the Condos rapidly taking over
I'm feeling liberated right now..

i actually really like montreal west. seems like a great place to raise your kids. has a lot of history, kids can play on the streets but it's still close enough to the city.

NO way Villeray rocks. All about Meli-Melo on Jarry awesome Haitian food cheap and so much grub! And you feel like you are part of a community up there, tree lined streets, kids playing in the alley ways. Its just so far!

Now I am living out in Petite Patrie, right between Little Italy and PLaza St Hubert. Still close enough to everything, but not nearly as expensive as Mile-End or the Plat-o. I like it.

Otherwise preference would be Plateau, but the "real plateau" between St. Denis and Papineau in the MT-Royal / - Laurier district. Love that hood!
I'm feeling ez baked right now..
