I'm with Phoenix on this one, it doesn't change a thing here on earth, it doesn't matter what it is, what it's made of or what it's classified as. unless I can spin a set there, eat it or smoke it. it's to far away for me to care about it, hell they can change the name of this planet for all I care, change the name from Earth to Bruce Springsteen, I won't give a flying rats ass, I'm still stuck here, so are you, we should care about what is real to us, like music, friends, boobs and drugs,... lets party. |

| I see where they are coming from. We humans are obsessed with defining and naming everything, Pluto HASN'T changed and yet our definition of it has. It does not change ANYTHING that Pluto is not a planet anymore. In this specific case, does it really help to classify things more 'clearly'? does Pluto actually matter to any of us? Is Britney's second child from the same father? WHO CARES?! I find it really disturbing that so many people are waisting their time arguing about something that has NO affect whatsoever on anyone anywhere. waste of life. |

| No no, that mattered because you could sail a ship off the end of the earth if it wasn't round. The debate around Pluto is not at all about what it is, just what it is called. Which is why it's so stupid. It's like saying: OK the earth is round but from now on we're not going to call it round, we're going to make it real complicated for no reason and call it Flansterrblakitt. Yeah Flansterrblakitt. | Ok Ok, it matters. But it's SO tedious... every one who knew anything about this whole ordeal knew that Pluto was not really a planet... elliptical orbit... smaller than a some comets... common. All I was trying to say is that there are MUCH more important things going on that actually affect the way we live. It's not like rent on Pluto is gonna plumit or anything. |
