| It's more stupid religious propaganda. Mariage means money to the church for the ceremony. Sex is a sin if it isn't to reproduce. Baptism costs money that the church gets. Teenage virgins and unbaptized babies are used by "satanists" to sacrifice to satan in "black masses".
Nice little propaganda loop that's pretty out dated yet still manage to snag the gullible.
Mariage is just a ploy to get money out of people. Now that the church doesn't hold much sway anymore, it's the govt. that still has to get payed to preform the legal ceremony. It's all about suckering suckers out of their money.

| I actually do believe what I posted. The concept of mariage, baptism and exclusive relationships is a religious invention that was "good at the time", because it did populate the world a lot, even though it was extorting people out of their hard earned cash/gran/cattle/bartering goods.
All we are are animals. No matter how advanced we get, how much technology we have and will achieve, we are still all made from the same flesh and blood and guts, and we are no better than them, though we try and pretend we're superior by creating "morals" that seperate us from them. We all eat, drink, shit and piss the same on this planet, wether we're human, monkey, dog or vache. |

| i think the thing i find the most amusing about teh bible is the mass contradictions that go on in there.. it gives people options what they want to believe, and they all get to take part in the same religion while all holding different moral values.
though even more amusing is if you try to point out factual flaws in that book, you get the "oh it's not to be taken litterally".. but question is, what can be taken litterally then? |
