Dude, you're overstepping the boundaries...I do not care if the girl is in a coma...YOU do not call my home ever again, got it?
cat, sharon and whoever else thinks that me writing a thread about this was insensitive and wrong, can really take a look at themselves in the mirror...I have a problem with it so ACCEPT it...don't even look at me if you don't want to, it doesn't change a thing in my life...what does change things is when randoms call my house panicing over another randoms drunken accident. |

dude, overstepping boundaries has happened alot in the past few weeks, so your comments mean dick too lone star. |

Let me explain the difference between panic and what happened. Panic is when someone calls you and screams into the phone, and you can't understand what they're saying. That's a far cry from "Hi. This is Colin. Do you know person x, there has been an accident and I need help getting in touch with her friends or family. No? Okay. Sorry for disturbing you."
Does that sound like panic to you? |

My "dick" comment was merely stating the lack of coherence in your posts. If you would see a little further than your own well being you might realise that what Colin did was far from entering your precious "boundaries".
Respect for other's well being triumphs over one's desire to sleep in peace. But then again... who am I to tell what you should prioritize or not. Maybe we should all be just like you and tell people that get struck by a car to... "learn how to cross a street". |

Whatever man... he called me too... basically I think the real reason to cut Colin some slack here is because he's from out of town and doesn't even know who knows eachother... taking up random leads might have been a little annoying to anyone who was asleep, but the girl WAS in the hospital, and was there until yesterday last I heard.
[ www.rave.ca ] is the girl... and she knows a bunch of people... |

oooo ! be sweet host one ! it's better have a call from someone who need help for a poor girl who got hit by a car than a sexuel maniac who jerk off at the sound of your girl friend voice... no ? |
Good [+1]Toggle ReplyLink» greatjob replied on Sun Jun 25, 2006 @ 10:40pm |

Where exactly are they going to get her info? Have you ever admitted to a hospital while unconscious? They get your info from one of two places: the emergency contact on your health insurance file, or they get it from the person that you're admitted with. Considering that she didn't have her health card with her, nor an address, why do you think it would be so unusual for them to ask the person she came with to help contact someone?
She was unconscious and strapped to an immobilisation board, and I was instructed to contact family as quickly as possible. Generally that warrants a certain amount of attention. I don't even know why I'm bothering to argue this, other than to show other people what real friends do for each other in an emergency. Maybe you could learn a thing or two. Why is this such an unbelievable leap of faith? Noah- not funny. |

Don't mind Noah... he's too busy taking pictures of unsuspecting ravers' boobs or asses. |
