and who says i don't have fans? many people download my mixes from my site.. then email me with compliments :D and i would like to comment on this whole BS pirating issue. first off not all my music is pirated. a VERY large amount of it was very legally downloaded from emusic [ .com ] (a pay service that pays the artists) as well as from [ mp3.com ] people who assume just cause i'm playing music off burnt CDs are thinking the way hillary rosen thinks.. "if it's burnt it stolen" which is bullshit. that said, i'm not gonna lie and say i don't use kazaa and others to get tracks.. but know what? at least i'm not being hipocritical.. anyone who's ever download photoshop.. cooledit.. or ANY other program illegally is doing the EXACT same thing, they just don't want to admit it. If you use photoshop to make some nice graphic then you display it somewhere, you are doing the exact same thing as me when i play a pirated track on one of my mixes. so unless there is someone here who doesn't have any illegalally downloaded software (and pirated music/movies on their HD) i don't want to hear anything from you about my using tracks that i didn't pay for. |

| Coolness: 221775 | your almost right, only that when you use these pirated software's, your pictures don't come out distorted due to a quality loss.
anyhoo, i could care less who plays pirated music and who doesn't, people are free to do what they want. |

but there's something i've noticed.. (keep in mind i've had lots of time to test this out given i have two JBL MPro 225's right in front of me) i've listened to a lot of different mixes both quiet and very loud.. when you play it really loud, even loose mixing sounds tight.. quick transitions sounds like they were much longer.. so you probably wont notice lower quality sound.. heh. |
