| the only way I can save money is if I hand to maman and say "put it in THE account and don'T let me touch for x amount of time"
see I have a savings account that I can deposit money, but can't take any out without both my mom's and my signature.. it helps
then again, I haven't really used that account since june and have no money in it since I spent it all in europe this summer.. but hey, it worked for a little while |

you dont need a parent to sign out your money. you can do it on your own. you lock it for so many years, get so much in intrest, and renew it when nessesary. blah blah. get some rrsp's & mutual funds, perhaps get set on a pension plan if you're working full time and you'll be a happy camper in say, 40 years.

| thus the reason you have to determine if you are if you eligible for starting an account - determine if you are making a reasonable, decent salary - to be ready to open an rrsp or mutual fund or whatever. |

| i have that account with my mom, where she has to sign out for money with me, and i'll tell ya it's the only thing that really works.
jackie's thing mostly works ofr a long term investment, whereas i can save for a couple of months to get what i want and its all good. |
