hum. to actually notice that, one also needs to sit around for a bit and not take the metro.

They tell the people who work in the metro to do that, and their are some workers who walk around make sure everything is okay , no crimes and such, and they are also told to look for any signs someone that would jump. I seen alot of workers just look down at the metro from above and stay there for hours, making sure everything looks in order.

The metros aren't packed at all compared to New York or Japan.

really? wow. must be kind of traumatising though... ur running ur metro for the X time and it's boring and all of a sudden someone bumps in ur window and theres blood everywhere. have u seen the movie "suicide club"? the first scene is highly explicit on the matter. "heres what happens when 54 girls all fdecide to jump at the same time" [ www. ] the train gets slowed down by the greasy skin and blood.... ewwwwwww

Thoughts on Metros, Public Transportation and Suicide. By Moi.
In point form for easy reading!

-People can just as easily stand in between the seats, not just near the doors
-Suburban public transport is the worst, suburbians like to have a seat in between every person, and if you take that seat.. WATCH YOURSELF! An old lady might glare at you the WHOLE RIDE! (oooOooOOOoooHH)
-Metro suicide, much like bulding jumping or anything else like that is what I like to call "the last cry for attention". If you just want to kill yourself because you're depressed, how about doing it in a way that would affect the LEAST amount of people? For instance, if I were to kill myself, I would rent a hotel room, draw a warm bath, and slit my wrists under the warm water (it hurts barely at all that way (they say), and you barely realize you're bleeding). One cleaning lady's day would be ruined, and then everyone else involved would be police. It would also save my family and friends the horrific ordeal of being the ones to find my body. Fuck.. if I killed myself I'd be considerate about it.
-There are signs up in the metros these days that tell you if you see someone distressed you should tell the metro man. I'm pretty sure if I did, he would yell at me.. since basically that's all they do.. yell.
-New York subways aren't as bad most people think, that's because there's often multiple ways to get to the same destination, and in rush hour.. there's a SHIT ton of trains.. miss one.. wait 30 seconds, catch the next.
-I've never been to Japan
-Standing in the middle of the bus makes me queasy
-Props to ariane for keepin her head on her shoulders

The End.
