The only thing is: this thread was a joke (of horrible taste, mind you) to begin with, and I don't appreciate it how everytime there's a difference of opinnion between someone who speaks french against someone who speaks english, it suddenly becomes the focal point of the conversation... it's fucking retarded.

Tu as seulment besoin de lire le thread 'candyraver is stupid' pour comprend de quoi que je parle.

(J'essai n'est pas?)

Flakie, I completely understand where your comming from. It's always the same vicious cirlce; Francophones refuse to speak english, for the same reasons anglophones refuse to speak french.

If you have your opinion on how you find us to be to be obnoxious morons because we make fun of ugly drug addicts -that's fair, and completely justifiable. But bringing language into this isn't.

Fair?

I know this sounds stupid and hypocritical, especially after my last post... but I was just drunk when I wrote that shit, and I take it back.

Err... this shit is getting way too serious and if I post anymore in this thread, i'm gonna vomit on myself.

Peace

I find french guys are way nicer then english guys. and french people shoot eachother less. but english people from outside of quebec are nicer then french people here who are nicer then english people here, who are meaner than english poeple out there. Okay enjoy my mass generalisations.

lol, yeah since i fall into the mean english person category =P But I actually have to agree on that one, well at least from personal experience. Guess we've had bad luck meeting the mean anglos here and the nicer ones out there.

I dunno, I find people in Ontario way nicer than the people in Quebec, but I seem to be the only one. As for french/english people here, there's pretty much an equal number of assholes on both sides.

Honestly, I was having this conversation with my mom not too long ago.

I was arguing that people in Montreal are cool/laid back/ down to earth and people in Edmonton are pompus/superficial/uncultivated. While my mom was arguing that Montrealers was stressed/stuck up/ flighty and that Edmontonnians are relaxed/friendly/sofisticated.

We must gone back n' forth for about half-an-hour using examples and quotations from people we've had similar conversations... ultimately, we agreed to disagree, and (much like Le D, said) there's pretty much an equal number of assholes on each side.

P.S: Drug addicts are fucking UGLY, and should dragged out on to the street and shot!

It all depends on the contact you have with the other culture. In the case of Toronto, this contact is pretty much reserved to the hardcore scene, wich is why I see Toronto as paradise. :b

Well, you get bigger parties, with better djs, more hyped up raver and they sell beer! Plus, I don't know anyone, so I don't have a clue about any drama they might have going on.

it depends

they got bigger crowds, more money, more sketchy affiliations between promoters and classy criminal money-makers

so they get more headliners and stuff ..

for drum&bass they get headliners on weekdays all the time, its crazy, and its an older and more mature crowd

BUT Montreal party people know how to rock a dancefloor propa, and any other city can be jealous of that, well for d&b, as i cant speak for other types of jams ...

Montreal's drum&bass crowd creates the nicest and grooviest dancefloors ! :)

Yeah, that's what I heard about d&b in Toronto, way too much attitude. Happy hardcore, on the other hand, fuckin rocks there. You got a good mix of hyped up kids and more mature listeners.

I cant speak for happy hardcore people, but the bookings in TO are decent but the crowds are a joke. Someone before mentioned that
us in the 514 know how to rock a dancefloor and that is so fucking true.Toronto peeps look like fucking tards with there hands in their pockets when kick ass music is playing. If Canada is a family, Toronto is the tight ass dad, Montreal is the alcoholic psychopath uncle that everyone is kind of scare. I'm new to this board and it looks like most of yall seem to be into the harder stuff. As a fucking househead I can state that we have one of the better scenes in North America.Oh ya, this thread wuz about drugs...I fucking love some good speed to keep me going all nite....moderation is key...anything more and yo dick will shrivel up.
