hmm, I don't think I agree with that, since Japan is really occidentalized and has a lot of influence from USA and Europe, but it's a really interesting culture indeed! |

Still a unique place on the globe though, I can't wait to be there and visit modern cities & traditional countries. |

Im not saying its the best, and the fact that it has a lot of influence from USA and Europe just spices things up in my opinion.
I guess I meant the more "underground" culture is facinating.. in my case at least. |

The Japanese people I've met have been super cool and I know a couple people who have lived there and enjoyed it. Heard they have some fancy toilets... |

no I mean like computerized ones that can tell who is using it based on the weight on the seat, and have custom settings for each person in the family.. like it will wash your ass with the water temperature you specify and stuff... Some of them check your pee to see if you are getting the right vitamins and stuff.. |

I really dont get why half the people are trying to argue that it doesnt suck..its just sarahs opinion and I respect that
Being away from home in a different culture sometimes makes you realize and appreciate how much you love living in North America...and then ya to you the foreign place really does suck. I hated every miniute I spent in italy and I cant even imagin how much I would NOT enjoy being in Japan (unless it was a short trip, with a guide or something) Ya exploring an other culture is good But I can completely see why feeling stuck there could make you really not want to. |

So despite the fashion/culture blabla, i find it very easy to understand why sarah says it sucks, even though i can`t comprehend why either. it is quite obvious to me that it has a wierd factor we just have to experience to understand. in conclusion: you ppl shoudl go there before callign her crazy for sayign it sucks! and stuff... |
