I dont know what you guys are talking about.
There was 100 000 students, more than similar strikes in the 60s. Polytechnique and University of Montreal Medecine Faculty voted for the strike - they have NEVER voted for a student strike... (these are all facts that come from a discussion with the top Politics Columnist for The Toronto Star and regular on The National Chantal Hebert)

ALso, just to squash all of Neoform's arguments (i.e: how money doesent grow on trees and what not), the governement took the money away in order to lower income taxes, its just bad governance. In order to keep their promise of not raising tuition, they shifted the burden on poor people's back. Basically, the Westmount asshole who drives a BMW didnt see his tuition get raised and instead, we took away some social advantages of the poorest quarter of the population - bad governance. The should just break their promise or not lower income taxes. Sure they are high, but our society benefits a *lot* from it. In the end, the Liberal PArty of Quebec will forever be crippled by this strike, believe that.

its not only about the money neoform, its about a people's values. This government (which i elected by voting for) does not relate to the values of the people of Quebec and people are also expressing that.

Charest will soon begin negotiating with the public sector, and youll see, its gonna be another failure and high schools will go on strike all over the place. Then Charest will be thrown out by his own party and replaced by Philippe Couillard. Remember, you heard it from me on this day.
