What was it's charm to you Smurf? To everyone the charm is different and momentary. If you can find for you the real reason behind the charm that you find you've lost, you'll get it back again I guarantee. |

Poisoned candy: At the third party I ever want to, in the morning I ended up talking to a massive scary biker guy. He was talking about how much he liked hardcore music instead of trance. He looked like zz top. I thought he was cool but it changed my outlook on raves a bit. |

skintracker: peace, love, unity, respect? :) Its hard to put into words. Briefly: I miss the times where there was 1 gang at a rave, and not a bunch of gangs (some friendly to each others, some bitchy to each other). I miss the times where no one looked down on others. I miss the times when promoters gave us enough for our money (dont take it wrong, current promoters, i did not attend your raves so i do not know how it is today, but roughly 3 yrs ago, andre, minitank, green altitude (shameless plug) and kirk 6 where the only promoters who's raves i would gladly pay for, because i knew my money was worth it. Paying 30$ to hand in a dirty place with only sound, lights and local DJs is not a fair price, imoh).
all that said, i'm ready to try going one more time, any suggestions on which rave I could attend which would feature nice deco, good djs (no trance or happy, not that i hate it, just that its not my thing), good location? |

Yeah man, Lately, I've been seeing that all sorts of promoters have been working together, and the vibe these days has gotten so much better. (Ie: Konect. Rave Wars. Elixer. Etc.) |

Filll in your profile some more smurf, letsee what you're into.. I'm workin on a collaborative event for August 27, outdoors with Future Crew and Psy Company right now(If another promoter would like to become involved pm or psy_co, RAD is busy atm.). This event isn't about commercialization, We're trying to get everyone on board for free so that profits can cover costs associated with catering to a more diverse group of people. So far we have a diverse mix of djs who are flexable in what they're willing to mix and I can guarantee that the deco, setting and grouping of people will be simply unique.
Gangs can become a thing I guess, I'm still fresh in the scene and I hang with the people I arrive with, I also dig taking the tour of the place trying to locate people who are interested in meeting me. There are always so many people tho I find myself talking to very few and then moving about within my own gang. The best deco I've seen and the coolest group have been centered around the Psychonaut, Phonolite, Morphee, Ganesha crowd. |

i'm into anything, especially if the promoters show some effort. I'm not a trance or happy fan, so i wouldnt go someplace that featured only that. But i dont mind a trance set between others i would like to see.
If you do need free help with the event, i'm willing to help when summer starts (unfortunatly, until then i have tons of work lined up). I'm not artistic, but i'm imaginative and ressourcefull. Those few who attended Birth of a Fairy in 2002 can probably vouch for that. Also, to any promoters out there: I still have i'd say 20 rolls of fluo bikini bras string. (you know, the part that goes over the shoulder). Its roughly 1 inch wide and around 20 meters long. It reacts to black light. It can also produce an hypnotic druggy effect when unrolling. I think i still have lots of green and some orange. I kept it in case i'd need it again, but i dont think i'd ever throw a party again. I'm not asking anything in return. |
