| do them urself man. theyre pretty expensive to get done.. but unless uve got extra cash and are allured by the idea of sitting in a chair for over 2 hours with someone pulling away at ur scalp, then go right ahead. but theyre pretty simple to make on ur own. |

| Depends on how much hair you have and how many you want. It actually usually takes 4-6 hours for 6" hair.

[ www.btinternet.com ] is a good place to check out if you want some done with extentions and put in either permanently or not. (plus the chicks are super-hot! ;)) |

| yeah.. i had dreads for three years. i made them with beeswax, patience, knots, twists and teasing. i would recomend doing them yourself, cuz then you'd know how to touch them up. i've had friends pay 100$ for dreads that fell out after a week.. most uncouthe~ |

| a friend of a friend of mine lives in montreal. she has amazing dreads that she did herself, she's dreaded dozens of people's hair. she also does extensions and color and possibly other things. i don't know her well personally but i do know that she (almost) never charges people anything except maybe a joint or two, and from what i've seen she does a bloody marvelous job. if you email me i can give you her contact info. l0ra_bitchcakes@hotmail.com |
