lost my 40 gig hard drive that was full to point where it's now broken, filled with nothing but music, meticulously organized, catagorized, dicologized an all that...
apparently it's fixable for alot of money, which is cruddy

now i got about another 40 gigs of all random ass tracks, that i think i want to delete, and start all over again...which doesn't interest me too much, but i want a library of music again

the most music i had was 13,455 tracks

and i'm not even sure if thats the most actually

Between my 3 computers at home, the one at my office and all my cds combined I'd have to estimate a good 8000 songs give or take.

do u guys ever actually listen to all the music? i know i don't. it's kinda fucked up especially considering most of you have 10 times more than me. how could you ever listen to it all? (not that that's the point, god forbid).. i like to imagine myself as a bored, lonely 85 year old man one day, happy to discover like, all my old CDs, or records (or hard drives maybe?) and sittin around listening to all this shit, nostalgicatin' and even hearing stuff that perhaps i never bothered to listen to 60 years earlier.

steve: i listen to pretty much all my mp3s all the time. I have been transferring my mp3s from hd to hd since 1996 and hopefully ill be able to do that for the rest of my life without losing everything at some point

I listen to at least 95% of my music quite often. My mood is always changing, and so is what I feel like listening to.

I listen to all the stuff I have, but that's why I don't have much.. I also don't keep anything which I know I won't listen to.

the stuff i have on my computer now, i barely ever listen to...almost never, it's all random stuff that i tried to regain after lossing all my
old music,

before lossing all my music, the majority of stuff
i had was all Turntablism, stuff i traded for over
seas and over the internet...i listened to it ALL
the time

i want a room like a friend of mine's dad has

sound proof walls, lock on the door, inside, wall
to wall records and a couple vintage players

he's got 50 000 plus records, i peed myself when
i walked in the first time
