THE FERIAS BLOCK PARTY @ mario park, in the mile end. sunday august 23, 2 > 9pm we couldnt let this summer pass without a full-on ferias neighborhood jam… music by ferias + friends + family on the elastique soundsystem. food by castel francos drinks by wills + zamalek diy merch prints by @acarelabel ++ a record sale by ferias TOTALLY FREE & OPEN TO ALL. bring the whole family. much respect to marche des possible & pop montreal for helping us make this happen. and all the luv in the world to colin, who painted this marvelous flyer for us. simply the best! ** WEATHER UPDATE ** change of plans for our sunday block party… while we’d all be up for a rain jam, thunderstorms are another story. thunda+lightning would mean we can’t safely run power to the park - thus no speakers boomin, which in turn would mean no dancing and a quiet, wet, underwhelming experience all together, eh? SO, with the huge liklihood of thunderstorms on sunday afternoon, we’ve decided to move our sunday black party inside to PARQUETTE. yes, that lil slice of paradise. you know it + you surely love it. simply as good as it gets with four walls and a roof. the sunday jam lives on, and will still be FREE and open to alllll. bring the whole family. Castel Franco will be servin BLTz. A Care Label will be making DIY ferias merch. Shams will be serving ice cream. Ferias will be selling records. Icky Madgala + Joe Toner + Guthrie + Alina will be playing records. *please note* we will not have a bar. parquette’s cafe will be brewing coffee & serving zamaleks+selzers+such. okie dokie, lets do it! SUNDAY. PARQUETTE. 1345 bellechasse, next to parc père-marquette. 2pm ’til 9ish. |
