Sometimes angels don’t have wings.
Instead, they wear black leather
Studded collars and dog chains
Sometimes angels don’t have halos,
Instead they have green hair,
Pierced eyebrows and bellybutton rings
There are no flowing white robes
Aura of goodness or fantastic miracles
Only gunshot politicians and blood on the walls
Angel don’t have wings
Just a little bit of kindness everyday
It’s all it takes to make an angel.
