In short, the Yamaha GF16/12 is about similar to the well known Mackie 1604 VLZ pro but the routing is more efficient, and the preamps of better quality. The console is pretty large, so it is confortable to work with too, nice for people who like to tweak. Mint condition, bought brand new this winter, and has been rechecked a few months ago. 800$ negociable. Please answer directly to:

If you have a very low budget yeah those cheap controllers like evo's, phatboy or whatever was suggested are not bad. If you can afford to tip in more money, I recommand the Tascam us-428. It s a usb-plugges soundcard and a midi controller at the same time at it works great. In my opinion,it's the best "beginner" investement i made.

it s something like 800$ new, but remember it s a good sundcard at the same time, and it s very interesting for live performances: no need to get a soundcard for the laptop for instance.


However, if you really want to have full control of your sequencer, the best in my opinion is the Mackie control. We re talking 1600$ yes but once you re used to it, you can t go back. For instance, it has motorized fader, which is a must have if you want to do your mixing with it.

Well I am selling my pair of event PS8 that I bought 1200$ @ Steve's like a year ago. They sound extremely well, and they have been designed for small studios. Also they are preamplified, thus you won't need an amp. Know that if you go for not amplified monitors, you well need to buy the proper amp to fit with.

- killer music, with not only a devastating headliner, but also a special 2h min dj set from one on the delta memebers (Arne). In addition, all the members of Delta will be present, and not only a fraction of it like it s often done. the 3 guys will be there to rock the place :D
- not just one out of towner but also another one, Metalogic the rising star toronto
- as one live act is just not enough, we ll bring you another one > 01ek that will make you hear his fresh new prods
- the conceptual part will not be left aside, with our environment designer that will create decoration exclusively for this event, and will match the atmosphere of the night
- other visual artists will not be left aside, and different VJ artists will perform throughout the night, to match better with each musician style.

Once in all, it will be an carefully orchestred night, that will take you in another world.
