yeah...
but the natal rig is extremely cutting edge in the sense that it understand YOUR movements and not the controllers.
nobody's ever done that before...
and sensored controller based games like that have been around since the first nintendo...
anybody remember duck hunt or the power glove?
both will definately have some bugs to get worked out...
but i really think that it's a bigger technological achievement than sony's finally tuned wii rendition.

She's from lamesville U.S.A. and probably doesn't have much better to do than pierce her face and eat krispy cremes...

For realz...
not to mention your math is seriously flawed...
honestly...
i hope you copy pasted that bullshit from somewhere???
but even if you did...
you'd have to be a little slow if you actually think thats how promotions work.
1st off... you failed to mention the "cost price" of anything at all, which is ridiculous because you can't determine profit without knowing the cost.
the "promotion price" you listed is just the "difference" between the regular price and the "promotion price". It doesn't reflect the cost of the product.
you are only assuming the value of the product is "equal to" the promotion price.
for all you know little ceasars is paying 4$ per pizza or maybe even less.
plus you gotta take in factors like what wizdumb mentioned.
ya gotta wash that shit down with something...
when was the last time you saw drinks or fries on sale at mcdo?
so lets look at it in "layman's terms" AKA "raver terms"...
try to look at it like a gay rave party with a shit budget.
sure flyers cost money... let say 100$
and so does the talent, staff, equipment and the venue... say $1500...
your lucky if you break even at the door charging $10... lets say you loose at the door and only pull in $1200... lets call this $400 loss your "promotional price"
but your also charging 5 bucks for a bottle of watter or 6 for a redbull...
and sell 50 of each bringing in $600 dollars...
and you got a guy on the floor selling 20$ speeds and $5 blow jobs who pulls in $600 bucks.
this IS NOT YOUR PROFIT until you calculate "cost".
$0.25 for each water bottle.
$1.00 for each redbull
and lets you split the bank down the middle for cost, distribution & felatio of the narcotics.
so even though you pissed away $300 at the door...
you still walk away with a few hundred bucks in your pocket providing you don't have to much over stock left over from the water and red bulls.
which could also later turn out to be more profit as well if you sell it to the guy throwing the party next week....
but yeah...
my point being...
your not very smart.
=P

It was london...
and i'm not arguing the fact that he ever played old breakbeat hardcore as dnb as we know it didn't really exist in those days and hardcore pioneered the sound...
but it was hardly how he got his start.
anyway...
here's a quote taken from his own personal website just to clear things up...

"Trained strictly as a battle DJ, Caps dominated his home town of London Ontario's scratch & mix competitions, where he remained undefeated & king of the dance for all
of his adolescent years, while his production skills, even at such a young age earned him opening slots for supreme legends of hip-hop including Ice-T & Evil E, RUN DMC, EPMD, Red Man and tons more before he even left high school. His wide appreciation for music kept him locked on every sound that appealed to him, from hip-hop to hip-house up to breakbeat hardcore down to the rave then off to the jungle, Caps was on top of it all, mixing and producing oldskool jams that shook down the walls of London till there was nothing left, then eventually packing up his arsenal of dubplates and gunning straight for Toronto."

but yeah...
recoil has it right.
i remember those days when he was getting hated on in t.o. pretty well too.
he was dating a girl here in montreal and hanging with us every other weekend.

way to make a guy feel ancient...
i honestly don't think there was any real raves after 2002ish...
things were really different before the laws changed and the economy went to shit.
back in those days a "small intimate rave" consisted of 1200 ppl.
i remember when having 700-800 ppl was considered a "shitty turnout"
anyway...
times have clearly changed.
my first rave was this "crazy and spectro" party called "knock out" in 1996 i believe???
unless you wanna count the afterhours jams at the old playground???
those were in 2004 or 2005 i think???
really too long ago to remember.
now can somebody older than me post in this thread please, so i don't have to feel like such a liver spotted senior citizen...

honestly... i think it's a pretty phenomenal line up...
like c'mon???
look at these names!!!
i'd pay 20$ to see just about any of these guys individually..

Uberzone VS BASSBIN TWINS
Deekline
Malente
Fort KNOX 5
AC Slater
Nick Thayer
Beat Vandals
Deekline
Utah Saints
Ali B.
Bassnectar
Atomic Hooligan
Ill Gates (phat conductor)
Maestro Fresh Wes
Mat the Alien
Benga

I feel that the line up really reflects whats goin' on in electronic music TODAY.
not to mention the line up listed isn't even complete...
as sad as it is to say...
there are a lot of ppl in quebec that are ridiculously behind the times.
and i think that ppl's obsession with hardcore clearly reflects that.
like c'mon now...
even if you look at countries like england with huge hardcore and donk scenes..
those scenes are polluted with scum bags and degenerates.
it's dirty white trash music really.
like fuckin' hell...
what promoter in there right mind would want to attract that low calibre of ppl to there parties???
fuckin' crack heads chewing there face off, stealing, bumming change and walking around smelling like complete ass...
it's fuckin' trashy man.
and as much as there is a lot of sketchies running around b.c.
after working with so many van city heads over the years and getting to see what there scene is like first hand...
i really think that those west coast kids are doing a phenomenal job focusing on up and coming sounds rather than somehow getting stuck in 1996 (yet somehow not knowing anything of any origins before 2002??) and letting there scene stagnate and die off like it's doing here.
feel free to bitch me out, insult my taste or leave any sort of typical [ rave.ca ] comment slandering my mother or calling me a homo...
but what it comes down to is that these guys are doing a much better job representing electronic music than anybody on the east coast outside of Miami.

the duet is not the be all and end all of anything.
definitely not a replacement for a good external pre.
but it'll definitely perform better than anything else thats built in (not to mention most low end external units)...
at least in that price range.
good pre's are fuckin' expensive man.
not to mention... in an ideal world, you'd probably wanna use different pre's for different mics... different rooms etc...
