Now THAT was one hella production company, Ben 'n' Laz aka Eden productions threw some of the first big raves in this city. Man, the weekend Lush was supposed to happen they lost their venue, I was living with Krista and a few other dope children of the night in a 5000 square ft. loft in mile end. Laz called us up 'n' was like, yo we got Josh Wink 'n' 4 Hero here and no space, can we use your loft?!?!. Hehe, we were like, yo give us 200 bux some pillz 'n' bring it!!! (like they even needed to ask, they coulda just shown up n we woulda been down) That is by far 1 of my best memories of teh Mtl rave scene, 400 peeps on liquid acid, Josh played a 6 hour set of sweet tribal acid... ahhhhhhhh good times :) Nuff thx Trey fer postin that! The oficial Lush party was thrown the next weekend at a shopping mall in Lasalle, fawkin ill party. Heh, Eden lost alot of money bak in the day, what with all the clubs trying to thwart rave co. efforts, BIG UP TO EDEN!!!

Thats fowl what happened, best wishes, cuz kitties are one of the best living tings. You give them love and they give back 10 fold. I completely understand your feelings concerning iresponsible peoples, I got my first kitty in Mtl (cute likle tabby named *marley*) at a pet store near berri Uqam, fawkin bastids did not vacinate their kittens although they claimed they did. Me 'n' meh ex wondered why marley was so chill 'n' loved the ganja too much (hence the name marley) after a few months he din move much just chillin all the time, I took him to the vet 'n' they said he had feline luekemia. They wanted something like $700 to operate and treat with no gaurentee they could save em. I had him put down after they let me see him, couldn't bare the thought of his pain. I avenged him by throwin a cinder block through their window wid "greed kills" painted onit. Straight up I would verbally assault that person for A not caring for their own, 'n' B for puting your kitties in jeopardy.

But where there is darkness there is also light... Our roomates kitty, Nuni (coy term fer pussyclat) was not vacinated 'n' was fine after the fact. And no, marley did not get it from Nuni.

hopefully I can dropa little knowledge on the raelian/rave connection.
In 94' the Raelians decided that they would like to throw super big rave parties for all the sweet boys n girls of the Mtl rave scene. They rented a huge wharehouse in old mtl @ 33 Nazareth (how convenient)where Diskreet Logic is now located.

Hoodwinking the montreal rave comunity into believing they were purely interested in providing a safe eclectic atmosphere for the young underground party scene, they set onna journey of throwing "Neksus" parties once a month for 1 year. Many including myself were skeptical of such a generous forthcoming of good tidings and will. I mean their rent was 10 000 a month and promised of international headliners. Now why 'o' why would a cult* sorry ...."recognized religeon" be interested in throwing rave parties where 2000-4000 youths gather inna hedonistic temple of rhythm & bass. Hmmmmmmmm... could it be ... sAtAN?








No no noooo, I'am afraid it was much much lamer then that for the master of disaster mistah mestopholeez. They wanted to recruit ravers young and old through the use of sublimnal messages in the visuals and even yes, by slipping audio messages into the nights music.

Fortuneatly the jig was up within a few months but not without consequence. They helped dramatically reduce the level of positive public awareness about the rave community. They werked hand in hand with undercover police in arresting good peeps in da scene, all the while profiting from their own dirty deeds 'n' dealers.
Not to mention leaving oportunity for the awesome
bikers* we love and cherish so much at our peaceful events.

Not only that but they swhowed some of this city's top ranking evil promoters* of what they could get away with back in the day.

All in all i think teh raelians are only interested in da_punani 'n' da_penis, da_mind 'n' ur bank account.

hmm, funny how they don't talk about their great Neksus parties anymore, surely it would be good p.r. on their website.......... maybe it's cuz they got FAWKIN CAUGHT!!!! teh fawkin fawkers, piss meh off.
