yeah and what happens with these kind of monitors is you dont really need a subwoofer .. because it will give too much bass and when you will play your track on a big system, it will miss bass since you didnt gave much because your sub was over-producing bass .... please .... dont produce with subwoofers!

i got the alesis mk2 and they give allready enough bass for a 6' like i told in this thread b4

one of the best thing is to look a pictures of studios and see what they got ...
not only electronic studios but all kind ...

the one i see coming back most often ... it has a white speaker but i did not find what was the name of the monitor ... then you got a wide variety of alesis that i saw and some other brand name here, like the rockit and stuff, but the best is to but 2 pairs and allways compare, if you got enough money!!!


And one trick is to test your track on different system, car system , mp3/portable cd, hi-fi living room system ect ... so you can see what mastering/compression sounds best in overall!
