| I'm pretty sure this is going be a good one. After all, this is the story of (like they say in the trailer) James becoming Bond. We're going to see some actual psychological evolution in a Bond movie. And less gadgets, which is good, the last one was an absurd technoaction movie.
If they play Texas Hold Em, I'll have no other choice but to go see it. |

| I find it difficult watching prequels that are made many years after the originals because they lack relative chrono-visual realism as do most remake adaptations. I guess the sci-fi genre is most affected because new computer effects are obviously much better displayed when you're watching the new Star Wars episodes or Star Trek: Enterprise for example compared to the originals eventhough the seemingly more advanced visuals actually take place in an earlier chronological timeframe. Certain movies like Red Dragon (prequel to Silence of the lambs) become unaffected because there are no major timestamp references. Had anthony hopkins looked significantly older upon the production than he did in the original it would almost be difficult to keep him as Hannibal because it would subconsciously affect the viewer's perspective.
Think about it, the new Bond movie is obviously going to have alot of crazy visuals, new hot cars, fashion references, musical references etc which wouldn't have even existed in the time that Bond (according to the traditional story) originally became a 007. I find it's almost essential to start off a series from the first episode & working from there so that you can you maintain the realism of character aging & social development if the producers & directors keep the same cast member to play the main protagonist. |

| well.. i'm not too exited by casino royal.. i saw few ads and i just think it's so strange to see a blue eyes blond hair guy.. well..after all, todd solondz show up with palindrome that is not always a casting question!
but i think that the new bond girl gonna be awsome! eva green really impress me in her introducing in "the dreamers" by bertolucci.. so i supose i'm gonna give it a chance!...when it's at my store.for free.
i saw the departed! it's now in my top 5 gangster movies.
i hated the last few scorsese but this one is almost perfect. if you liked goodfellas and casino, i'm pretty sure you gonna love it! the work on the sound is great and everything is dynamique. |

and scince i like to watch series like star wars one after another, the special efects in episode 4 makes too much of a gap between episode 3... seems like vader retro-graded! hahaha |
