This isn't about ego - it's simply to show that you shouldn't bitch promoters out because it'll come to bite you in the ass.

Why should you care what I think? For one, I get along well with 90% of promoters in Ottawa and you can be sure I won't be pushing for any of you to get booked here.

Nobody likes someone that'll bitch them out if they throw a smaller party than usual.

You've probably never heard of me because I'm an *OTTAWA* promoter, not a Montreal promoter (and you Montreal people are so close-minded you apparently don't like to leave your City).

I threw Here We Go [ rave.ca ] - we had nearly 700 people there and yes, it was a party with a budget around 10k. I've thrown about 12 raves in Ottawa in the last two years under various promotion guises..

Get a life - if you don't like the lineup don't go but I don't think the promoter deserves to get bashed for it. I can tell you right now that a few of the DJs that have been retards in this thread will never get bookings from me...ever.

You guys need to learn what respect is.

She's throwing her first party and putting her hard earned cash on the line for others - chances are she won't make much money since the Qc scene is small - so she's doing it just so people have a good time.

How can you possibly insult her for that? I've put 10,000$ on the line for a party before and if someone was to bash me like that I would get them blacklisted from every party I ever play at/am professionally involved with.

It's nice to see someone book a DJ for his skill rather than his draw. Dodgee is probably the most skilled freeform DJ in the world so I'd much rather see him than many others.

In fact, I'd book him if there wasn't already so many parties going on in Ottawa around that time.

On a eut ~700 personnes à Here We Go pis on est bons amis avec Ryan et Emm de Synergy - c'est la dernière chose qu'on aurait voulu. En plus je mixait à Back to the Groove...

Je pense que la party s'est fait buster à cause que l'emplacement manquait de sorties de secours mais jsuis pas sur.

C poche parce que je voulais vraiment revoir Luna-C mixer (parce que évidemment G pas vraiment pu à Here We Go parce que Gtait occupé)

Unfortunately the venue we were planning to use cancelled on us at the last minute and after franticly searching for back up venues there was nothing else we could find on such short notice. When it comes down to cancelling the party or doing it at Backstage, well the show must go on, so HERE WE GO! To make this party continue to live up to being one of the BEST events Ottawa has ever seen, we’re going to be making sure we make some special changes to ensure things are as best as they can be!

Tickets will be staying at 25$ at the door.

• We’ll be bringing in our own pumping sound system to make the beats loud and thumping!
• We’ll be bringing in our own staff to ensure your safety!
• IDing at the door! NO underagers!
• This event isn't in affiliation with Backstage; we are fully paying to rent out their facilities.

using balanced 1/4" will solve your problem according to what I read online before buying them

The reason I edited 'Crying Bastard' is so I could fit all the mix on a CD... (Too Strong wouldn't have fit)
on top of that it isn't a great track, I just like the little sample in it alot so it didn't do it any harm
