I have to agree with scott's above comment about the market value of the camera itself,...
To make offers based on an apparent discount elsewhere is nothing more than a way of negotiating a better price in my eyes,... Anyone could say "Well yeah, I can get that $300 retail value camera new on discount (wherever) so i'll buy it used for $100". Obviously it the vendor's choice to accept the offer however that doesnt change the fact that it would be taking advantage of the vendor state of insecurity & financial burden at the time if they were somewhat desperate to sell their product. |
