| Coolness: 81750 | I read an article in yesterday's gazette (10/23/03) saying they wanna change the wording of the law on nudity to be more agressive towards people being charged for child pornography. the new wording would eliminate people from justifiying the porn as an expression of art.
unfortunately this vague wording would affect nudist colonies and nudist lifestyle across canada even when there's no sexual or pornographic reference... logically speaking it's ridiculous that we even wear clothing to begin with...we're the only species on the planet that created a need for it and ironically its socially unacceptable to walk around in your "natural state" !Phoenix! |

| Coolness: 685650 | I agree with that. It's so fucked up that it's "illegal" to be in our natural state. What's worse is that people SERIOUSLY believe that nakednes is wrong and that people should be covered up all the time.
Then again, our society still holds fairly major taboos on sex, which is only the most pleasurable mental, physical and emotional "thing" that people can do, on top of it being NEEDED for the survival of the race as a whole. I'll never understand how virginity can be a virtue. Hell, we've even still got people starting wars over who's imaginary friend is better. Humans are fucked up like hardcore. |
