venue was weak but all got down to the dnb sound again proof that there is no duplicating the iDJ crowd, each person has the strength and loudness of 10 so its great to see 40 people sound like 400! iDJ family was tight, phil+steve, torontoguests+ much love what was that fight about? nter 1 -crescent hos 0? gazeebo didnt happen we need pre amped speakers or a good amp - the band didnt let us play either really(non electronic musical bastards!) anyways, we wont be back to that area, look out for bigger and better things also please please please come to Horizons next sunday @ saphir!!!3699 st-lo fee=free, terrasse in effect+tams,etc... |

the location is.....muh BUT, if people didn't come just because of the location......i dunno, that sucks. the music was great. Galaksy the set that you played at the beginning of the evening was awesome, the Nitrous is always wicked, and everyone else made my ears happy as well. the gazeebo, the tams, they made my weekend. i have never had such a wonderful sunday. ever. |

I'll blame it on being stoned. :) Party was amazing, didn't know that Galaksy was doing a set in the chill room, so that was a very pleasant surprise! Crowd was great, too. Security didn't search me this time, which was apreciated. Mike startin' a ruckus with them silicone hoes outside was great. The MC and DJ from out of town (Don't remember who they were, sorry) were fuckin' amazing. Miller fell asleep on a table. Ben kicked my ass at chess, much like I was expecting him to. Got to hear someone spin Blue Monday AND I heard "Nightmare on My Street" By DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, which totally made my night, along with that amazing track Galaksy's been playing at every party since Sonar. And what was up with that man? Next time Galaksy gets on the decks, all you punks stay the fuck off, even if you're fuckin' good. No offence to anyone who went on, but fuck man, I wanna hear Seb spin a FULL set when he's supposed to. It's bad enough he doesn't have that great a time slot that he also gets his time to rock the crowd with his sounds cut short by other people. Step off and let the man do his thing for fuck sakes. Other than that, overall the party was great. Steve was fuckin' trashed. That was funny. He was barely coherent and I kept expecting him to pass out or puke on my shoulder every time he leaned over to yell at the top of his lungs in my ear when he was speaking to me. Tams were great. Had some problems setting stuff up, and then went through 2 amps. Man, someone needs to establish a working portable IDJ sound system that doesn't crap out every time someone touches the volume or the EQ. |
