 Coolness: 193980 | PEOPLE might make jungle THEIR trend, but that does not mean the music, style, or culture is. For one, I liked jungle/drum n bass way back, like it now, and will prolly stay liking it. At least me and a couple other ravewavers I know were down with da massive before most of the crowd here started hanging out at IDJs and all (which is probably because mah bro Galaksy is doing a great promo job and is a perfect example of how one can be a great DJ, influence alot of people with music and action, and still have no shred of conceit or elitism in him).
Then again, this could apply to anything I guess, I mean even the food threads may have merit when looked at separately. So I guess you could say "being into jungle" has been a ravewave trend for the past several months, but it depends on people's reasons for being into jungle. If they are because they genuinely like it, then maybe a trend brought them there but it can't be called trend following anymore. If they come because others do it, then they'll leave just as fast and, well, are sheep :b |

it's stupid to say people are sheep or trendy coz you could dump any people in categories.. i think the term refers more to people that do things without thinking because others are doing it- making similar threads isn't being a sheep.. |

 Coolness: 49610 | IF people are like "wow, everyone's doing X, they must be on to something" then it's their problem. Me myself having had 2 of my friends that died in the past ( oh, did i mention that i'm only 24? ) i tend to have a level perspective about a lot of stuff.
It's all about perspective and experience. Myself having seen people on so much speed they couldn't even stand still without twitching all over the place, i made a decision long ago not to touch the stuff.Hopefully peopl doing the nu-dope-of-choice will finally get a frikking hint, and stop doing shit because they know people doing it. |

this thread is the cutest attempt at reforming a message board i've ever seen. i'm with jeff, yay for indifference. technodium broke a year ago because we were friends. then we grew up. the details are intimate. but it was the same as ravewave at one point, so i'll back kafwin on that. but the bar didnt have anything to do with how anyone else was treated. the bar was our own group's competition to beat post count. things were simple then. baa. why do i always feel like im defending that place? shit. |

Maybe it's cause alot of people see life as a competition... And feel the need to be "accepted and cool". Its quite stupid. Thats why ravewave sometimes reminds me of highscool. |
