My favorite use of stutter vocals: starting at 1:26 fucking hell, this came out in 1992... hope you read this :) pigface , my life with a trill kill cult , meat beat manifesto , skinny puppy , green jello , mm & spooky kids, shit even rollins band and affiliated acts used drum machines back then , even duran duran ,and the list goes on forever, they all used it and broke the technological barrier of sound. either by technique , originality or simply the drugs back then werent cheap shit and you still could get good lsd.. and let you ride the dragon with them a lil i mean why yall surprised it was awsome for " back then " , it infuriates me alil when i read something along that line , shure i think its cool too , but they werent dumbass back then , most of their stuff was even considered shit because the 60s"-70s" melody were more far fetch and some analog sound definition even with techno (jean jarre , gary newumann etc,,) were fucking kickass compared to some fruity loops stuckheads i hear once in a while... imo the best stuff came before 2000 cause they were in a rush to enter the future. my two pennies also i agree " fixed " had some really fucked up shit even today im like what the fuck , but when you listen and follow the pigface hierarchy and history line you get what happened and why it happend. start a project and ask the members to donate as much as they can . some in pigfacve even donated as much as 80k for a weekend of jam . now get about a dozen of them and you traveled in the future, once you get back to the real world everybody will think you are ages in advances. i can even necros, c0ldST0rage , basehead... 80-90 and stop there and think you will still undersand what i mean. ;D |
