Best Rave Club In Montreal?

I'm staying in Montreal the weekend of 12 - 14 Nov. and I'm looking for some sick house beats to lose my mind to! Where do you recommend for Friday and Saturday to go for amazing beats, and tons of hot sweaty euphoric people I can dance with early into the morning?
(I'm coming from the USA so I will have no party supplies ;) so a sketchier club like that isn't necessarily bad..) Thanks for the help! |

"rave-like" atmosphere in a club...
Damn, clubs in the state must be pretty awesome. Cause that just doesn't work in my mind.

well i don't know about anywhere besides dallas. and there's a couple clubs where everyones rollin and light shows are everywhere and its packed and the music is pumping hard and its like a small small version of some of the festivals i've gone to (i suppose that's the closest to a "rave" i've been, maybe that's not a fair idea of it) |

Ahhh raver youth and its judgmental ways against clubbers.
So what if someone doesn't know the difference between the two - they just don't know any better... and they never will if nobody shows them the way. And if their preference isn't the same as yours, it doesn't make them a bad person. To the OP: don't go to Circus.

Go to Continuum on November 14th, it will be a huge party. the venue will be announced on this website 24h in advance.
The only rave venue I'm aware of in Montreal is a place called 'Le Chill'. It's opened 24/7 from friday to sunday night most week-ends and the doorman sells drugs and whatever you need. They play house and trance music. The clientele is mostly in their 30s-40s. But it's a pretty crappy spot and not very crowded. It's close to Metro Parc. 3810 St-Patrick is not really an official venue but is where 70% of most of the major events take place here. It's basically an old empty warehouse. As for afterhour clubs, there are a bunch, just go on google and search for 'afterhour clubs montreal'. People will not be helpful here with such questions. For some people, it's cool to party allnight in an abandoned warehouse but it's stupid to party allnight in a club. Go figure their logic !!! take care and hope you have fun!

Back to: "they won't know any better if nobody shows them the difference"
Translation: "a club that plays electronic music" (as opposed to a hip hop club) ... Some days, I think clubbers are more welcoming than ravers, even though ravers are supposed to be the super happy and loving people!

It might be the new drugs used in the rave scene ( K, Mdma, etc) that makes them aggressive and close-minded I guess ?
