just to make sure we're on the same page here ^^ lol. amazing. speaking of people doing fake performances - I thought I'd share this =) there is some so-called DJ from New York City- some dude from Long Island. his name is DJ Thank You (lol!). he's a bit of a running joke on the [ www.ragga-jungle.com ] site. basically he's some clueless new wanna-be producer who thinks he's gonna blow up and become famous. so he keeps spamming the site with his horrific attempts at production and generally making a nuisance of himself so anyway, a couple days ago, I am browsing his videos on youtuube just for shits and giggles - mostly because I found his DJ name so bloody ridiculous =) so I find this video here - "live @ Strong Island" - and I'm like - alright, let's see what kind of jungle they're playin down in Strong Island and I couldnt believe my ears! this douchebag has taken one of *my* oldskool mixes, pasted two parts of it together into a mashup and opened up his set with it! I seriously think a 6 year old could have done a better editing job. so offtime and makes no sense at all. and to make it even more ridiculous, he's dubbed in all this reverb and wild cheering and applause overtop my mix, like he's Tiesto or something - hahahaha you'd really have to hear it yourself. it's good stuff =) |

I still don't like psy trance and find it pretty annoying watching kids with hula hoops and pois. I peed a little when Yoshin said they like doing that stuff. Wow. Hula hoops and poi. If you can light em on fire, and go with five hoops at a time, wicked. If not, you are a flake and probably hit people all the time, amirite? |

If not, you are a flake and probably hit people all the time, amirite? yes i do fire poi, and i hoop 5 hoops at a time. though i prefer 3 hoops at the moment, 5 is still too much, i can do more interesting things with 3... but in one or two years, i'll be totally in control with 5. now i only do 5 when i'm practicing at home... precisely because i don't want to hit people. also everyone need to start somewhere. you don't start with 5 hoops, but with one and 2. and you don't start with fire poi. and i son't do it to be a circus act or a show... i do it cause it's fun, and fun rules. anyways. i'm sure you're too much of a cookie-cutter who is scared of being judged by your friends to even try. that's ok though. less morons hitting people in the face at parties. oh wait... we don't go to the same parties. good then. :) |
