But then again, I doubt trance would put me in a trance, or that psytrance is the most psychedelic form of edm, or that dubstep has anything to do with dub anymore. The term IDM comes from the name of a mailing list in the 90's where electronic music producers (specially those we now consider to be IDM producers) could share info and other stuff. |
