Imma gonza fix0r T0x1k-Kandy's mini-laptop pc.
Problem is, the thing needs a winfows 7 reinstall. Till here No probz at all, however, one tiny detail. NO OPTICAL DRIVE. So yeah, I know sometimes you can boot from a usb key, wich is prolly the case. However, thanks to people that never return shinazz, I do not have one right nao. so Imma gonna use a sd card to transfer the install files to the laptop and lauch install from there. Am I beehing lazy? The only other alternative I see is tearin' mah pc down, jam my dvd rom into a dinausaur USB enclosure and workl from there? I would rather sd card solution.. Oh and one one, my SD is actually a sony memory stick thru a Adapter.

can't you just use the same tool to make the bootable usb key on the memstick? The official Microsoft one got pulled, but there's a home-made one that just came up on Demonoid within the last 24 hours or so.. you just point it to the Win7 ISO and the drive you need to make bootable and let it work it's magic..

You can usually boot off a usb key, and run a exe to actually do an install (depending on your version, Corp version let you do this I believe the others do just need to check the CD).
Or find one of the MANY utils to make bootable USB/Win7 install keys, plus it looks really easy to do on it's own. [ technet.microsoft.com ] [ www.intowindows.com ]

Gonza just go and buy a new one. GuesI didn't really have a use with my psp and shit. Update » MolocH wrote on Mon Jan 25, 2010 @ 1:22pm Yop. New twist.
I just realised that when my PSP is hooked up (via USB) and powered on, when I reboot my pc, (the hard way), during reboot, it spots my psp as a drive and performs diskj check. SOOOOO if I theoritically format mym memcard, and give it the same treatement I would to a USBkey just might work... PSP FTW:)
