wwaaasssssuuuupppp represent the west-side SHIIIIT hi nter hi clovr ya, i dunno. sasha/digweed was a weird night. i was there for like three or four hours, just sitting on top of speakers in the lounge and in the bar the whole time... listnening to them play... was in the main room for a bit but it was SO FUCKING LOUD my ears could not deal on a longterm basis. and yes.. I do love sasha and digweed. i was converted to them very late in life, thinking for a decade or so that they were ultra gay and cheesy, just 'cause they're so popular, and having never given them a chance. now i think they are both ill... their shit is great when you're in the right mood, they have maaad skills on the decks, and perhaps most importantly they have this super-distinct sound when they play.. something to do with perfectly dealing with EQs and having the most subby, chugging bass-scape.. word. |
