| Coolness: 685585 | yeah but that's just torrents.. they tend to come in way slower than your web-speed.. megaupload gets easily 500-700k/s from the start.. no looking for seeds, no relying on other people's connections, etc..

| Coolness: 685585 | Oh, yeah, there's a ton of shit on torrent sites you'd never be able to keep up on megaupload/rapidshare/etc..
But with ISP throttling, getting a 175 meg South Park episode can take up to a couple of hours (most ISPs throttle at 30-50k/s for total trafic) Great as torrents are, I'm much preferring getting 700k/s for a TV show or occasional movie over having to wait 12 hours because it's coming in at 80k/s off-peak hours 'cause a bunch of leechers aren't seeding back full-speed.. |
