 Coolness: 159255 | Je sais pas mais personnellement, après 4 fucking mois de construction sur ma rue pour des calisses d'égoûts (ça a senti la marde sur ma rue toute l'été) et autant de mois d'allergie à la poussière plus 75 millions de dollars de contrat de compteurs d'auto annulés (qui va payer ça d'après vous ?), je commence à avoir une idée un peu plus définie de qui je ne votera pas pour, en tout cas.
Moi je trouve ça vraiment le fun : le gouvernement québécois veut hausser les tarifs de tout pour compenser le supposé déficit qui est là à cause de la mauvaise gestion des fonds + la nouvelle dette de la Ville de Montréal avec les compteurs d'eau = une ville où ça va être chiant en estie de vivre dans une couple de mois. Ajoutons à ça la gestion des fonds la Caisse de Dépôt, le prix soudainement astronomique du prolongement de la 25 et Îlot Voyageur de l'UQAM et que j'en vois un estie venir me dire qu'on est bon en gestion financière au Québec. |

Ok so If I did read this correctly which is most likely not the case... I think you're as mad as I am about the fucking retarded amounts of construction going on... I came into MTL 2 weeks ago and not only did my bus stop in Kirkland as usual it did this fucked up detour to get back on the highway just to get off again at Dorval and be re-routed AGAIN after that to get back on the god damn 20 to Berri. My bus left at 4:15 I arrived at 7:30 that's Over 3 hours for a trip that usually takes 1.5!! Honestly what the fuck... All of a sudden the city just decides to drop millions of dollars on 10 different construction projects at once, mainly where traffic already hits bad!? That's one thing about Ottawa i like, most construction gets done at night when people aren't commuting. /end rant... So yeah... how about those elections.... |

| Coolness: 159255 | What I said was that a construction crew literally gutted my street open for 4 months to replace the sewer pipes which, in Itself is fine but nothing was being done half the fucking time and the very few places left to park were filled with "No Parking" signs only to find out these spots were taken all day by the construction crew's personal cars while us residents had to park 4 fucking streets away.
They gutted half the street first, then gutted the second half, then filled the first half... and re-emptied it again a few days later. WTF ?and their bulldozer's tracks (much like a tank's) lacked so much oil, at 7am sharp every morning, you'd be woken up by the soothing sound of what sounded like steel girders beyond forcibly twisted and screaming. No effort was made to accomodate the residents AT ALL. Fuck, they took our parking spots and cut the water about 4 times without notice. 4 months of this for shit carrying pipes. All the other construction zones aren't any better in town. It's just like the Ville de Montreal to wait at the absolute last moment to invest in construction. The city is riddled with detours. If I was a tourist right now, this would be the last time I came in town. |

| Coolness: 166680 | yup, the construction thing is ridiculous. the rave scene being destroyed ever since tramblay has been in power (maybe a coincidence, but i don't like it). the stm making really stupid decisions. the city doesn't look any cleaner. the city losing alot of money making touristic events (though i hate those events, they still help our city). and cops on fucking segways.
we need to do something. but our other options ain't a whole lot better. so, we're just gonna end up with a douche sandwich in charge, and the city will just keep heading down-hill .. or down the mountain :p what happened to the pretty, artistic, night-life loving town this once was? and why am i under the, generalized and stereotypical, impression that this town is run my the mob? jesus h christ, we're up shit's creek, and not a paddle in sight. |
