Yeah but Jalapenos are not very hot; most you'll find in stores are in the lower Scoville count (near 2500). When you think about Sriracha being 2200 Scoville units, it's not a big difference. It's not a challenge for me either :P You should try letting cut jalapenos (with seeds) soak in vodka for a week, then filter and drink the vodka. That's the only way jalapenos ever affected me (meaning, the vodka burned the fuck out of my throat). |
