 Coolness: 159235 | People like to talk about what they are passionate about but if the bulk of your conversations revolve around these subjects I cannot relate to all the goddam time, don't be surprised if I say I'd rather be caught dead or walk away in a party than having to be engaged in a conversation with someone like that.
It's boring, you don't know what that person is talking about and quite frankly, you don't care as your eyelids become heavier by the minute. And judging by the experiences I've had so far when faced with someone like that, they followed me and continued talking even though I offered no response. And in all, if not all, these cases I would visually survey my surrounding and imagine a John Woo style situation where I'd climb on a coffee table, jumpkick them in the head, roll, grab a few beer bottles and hurl them at their head. Then I'd snap out of my reverie and excuse myself to curl up in a fetal position in a corner of the room, clasping my head and yelling "MAKE HIM/HER STOP ! I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE !" and then I end up ruining the party for everyone else. So I avoid these conversations for obvious reasons. Yes, there is a lesson to be learned in there somewhere. |

There was a clear lack of judgment, and sensitivity on his part, and he feels a slight sense of guilt and hopes that those who he has affected can forgive him. As Daf and BettyHaze had mentioned, his intentions were not to attract attention towards himself, but towards the grotesqueries that take place on the internet, and to stimulate a conversation in hopes of finding an answer to the strange phenomenon of physically abusing, and even the killing of domesticated animals and posting those acts on the internet. Perhaps, a detailed and vivid description of a kitten being lit on fire would have been more appropriate in this discussion. He felt that by posting the actual images that are circulating the internet, that the public would have a direct link to the issue --very much like [ www.kenny-glenn.net ] did by allowing access to netizens to download the original video, or like Channel 7 news did when the played the Youtube video during their news segment (edited of course, because TV land is full of cry babies.) Clearly, he was a fool for doing so, and he realizes that it is NOT necessary to show people what it is they're talking about in order to talk about it.
