I dunno if Koivu should be captain anymore though, truth is he's had his chance to bring the team to victory and he has failed every single time... I can remember way more games that Kovalev made the difference than koivu making any difference. I'm not saying he's not a good player, but he can't go a single shift without falling down, commmon!! |

As much as I'd like to bash Halak and Price for not stopping pucks, I'm more concerned about the Canadiens fucking piss poor defensemen. Defense is for shit with this team, the Canadiens are seemingly more in THEIR zone that anywhere else and half the time, they have the accuracy of drunken monkeys on skates. And they're either in front of the goalies blocking his view or just aimlessly skating along the sides. So yeah, if I was a goalie and got slapshoted on my face every goddam 20 sec, you can expect me to become tired and be a tad angry at the defensemen, both of which will affect my precision in all sorts of negative ways...allowing more pucks to go in the net. I mean, last I checked, defense is supposed to DEFEND their zone which is clearly not what's going on right now or for the last few matches. Anyway, I'm not Don Cherry but that was my 2¢. |

- goalies are overworked. - defense is too busy checking out chicks in the stands than bodychecking opponents. - offense isn't doing too good in the passing department either. Lots of work is needed I think. |
