 Coolness: 145230 | mussels are delicious, a really good way to make them is the following:
you boil about 3-4 inches of water in a pot till it's really going toss in chopped carrots, onions, cellery, garlic, put some sea salt, pepper, oregano and lemon juice. wait about 5 minutes and then toss about 2 pounds of mussles in along with a half a can of Heineken beer. it takes about 10 minutes or until all your mussels open up. |

| Coolness: 76740 | That's a nice recipe... I prefer no water, opting instead for the same amount of white wine poured over lightly sautéed shallots, salt, pepper, lemon juice optionally, and you have amazing mussels.
Add tomato sauce and a macédoine of carrots, celery, garlic like you said, a few chilies, also very good. But the important thing is that you have fries to go with that. Delicious! |
