He's been banned 2 times already, chances are it has something to do with his what he's doing on here. I don't think ostracizing 95% of your community to give a chance to ONE person who's proven time and time again that he has *NOTHING TO OFFER TO THIS COMMUNITY* is the answer, honestly. How many visits do you think that generated? Now, imagine all these people sign up to the board/site, and then they come check the forums. What do they see? 8 threads by Piss trolling and starting arguments, a couple of threads by Lazer with nothing but insult-throwing, insult-throwing in every thread that Lazer posts in, and the largest non-silly-games thread on the entire board is the Jesse drama. How many people looking for a good, fun time in montreal's nightlife are going to stick around? Yeah, sure, our refreshing/reading drama threads gives Noah some money from the add-sense and from people paying for add-space to advertise their party. But how many potential promoters buying add-space looked at the forum and said "Fuck this, I don't want these idiotic douchebags at my party!" and never came back? How many partygoers looking for good parties or to meet like-minded partygoers took a look at the threads and got scared off because the majority of threads on the first page are all negative, insult-slinging troll-fests? You see our continuing/encouraging the drama as generating Noah more money from the addsense, I see continuing/encouraging the drama as being directly responsible for the loss of money he could have made were idiots like Bliss, Lazer, Jesse, and (now that I've read he's the one that convinced Noah to unban them) Mickos been baned from the site. No promoter that looks at the forum is going to be interested in buying a banner for their event, and so many more people could be on the forums were they not intimidated/scared off by idiots trolling and keeping drama going. |
