The only problems was last winter I didn't have any place left to put the snow :D Well, call me lazy but at least, during summer, I don't have to reassess my positions on the sidewalk every 5 feet like it's a fucking military operation, I do drive carefully but I can't say the same for every other retard on the road who doesn't ( and manage to have poor judgment while driving on black ice ), my winter tires cost me 100$ a piece and I STILL slipped all over the place yesterday...like every 18-wheelers I saw jacknife on the highway last night, I do take the metro in extreme cases but at 1h45 mins of travel sweating like a pig under 3 winter coats ( for a total of 1 cubic meter of used space in the metro car ), multiplied by 3000 other people just as hot, cramped and, well, smelling like a combined vat of sweat when it takes me 15 by car or when everyone's wearing almost nothing during summer ( did I mention bus rides being cancelled because of snowfall, something that happens, like, everyday during summertime ), and having to spend half my fucking paycheck on clothes I have to spend 15 mins putting on at home and peeling off at work and repeating the process at the end of my shift ( summer : you get up, put a t-shirt on and THAT'S IT, you are set for the day ), I'd have to say winter can suck my fucking frostbitten balls. The shovelling is good exercise, it's your roof starting to cave in that doesn't thrill me so much, something you o have to worry about during summertime. Sorry to rain on your parade Jojo but I admire you if you can consciously ignore everything I just mentioned. I wish I could say the same. :/ |

you are kind right though, the metro is the worst, I only take the bus. But it is never late even with tons of snow! 125 is the best in the morning, yet the worst in the evening! I don't worry about the roof, 2 other stories before the cave in get to my apartment. And yet I do love winter cuz my body is always hot (temperature wise) so I am always ok when it's cold, but in the summer, it's too fraking hot for me, my body has a hard time cooling itself. But I see your point and was only telling my opinion and playing a bit of Masa's role (devil advocate) ;-) |

Hahahaha. But I do sympathize with the whole " I can't cool down " thing though. People with somewhat high blood pressure usually prefer winter because you are less active and hot so it slows down blood flow a bit and, well, are more comfortable I presume. No, I didn't say YOU had high blood pressure though, just saying. I don't have that problem, mind you. I prefer being hot over cold anyday. :) |
