so normally i'd say it's a cry for attention... but i was dating a girl last year who did this too, and she would try to hide it from me. she was pretty depressed... and blamed her depression on this crazy experimental acne medication (acutane) she took as a teen that became known for causing severe depression later in life. too bad though... she had alot goin' for her... but alas... you know how it goes... THE HOT ONES ARE ALWAYS CRAZY!!! |

 Coolness: 76810 | Ok Mickos... personally I find it sort of pathetic to cut one's self given that most of the time it has to do with fashion. I'm not kidding. I knew kids in high school who thought it was metal to have cuts on your arms. Granted, sometimes it was, like if you'd carved a deep, badass pentagram into your back most people would be like, "well let's hear you shred" and then you'd be like "woah dude can shred". But the whiny camwhore emokids, the angular haircut sneak-into-foufs crowd, fuck em. And their appropriation of emo as something really lame. In fact I don't even defend the original concept of emo-core anymore because well, I don't like listening to Quicksand anymore.
I personally have gone through cutting phases and through bashing-my-head-against-the-wall phases, but this isn't a psychiatrist's office, it's a forum, so why talk about that shit here? Do we need to attract attention to ourselves? Because that's exactly why people do it. They want people to go "oh shit, what happened?" and then go "I did it to myself, I hate myself, please love me, etc". Truly suicidal people go all the way, and well, they die, don't they, otherwise it's just attempted suicide, and that means they need therapy, obvious enough isn't it? Can't say what anybody suffers from or generalize the auto-mutilation desire as being indicative of only one personality disorder or neurosis. Those into hurting themselves are usually blaming themselves for unfortunate circumstances, and feel that they need to punish themselves for not being able to change them. This was always why I wound up doing this shit. The bashing my head thing was always a literal form of how I was feeling symbolically, that I kept hitting my head against the same wall and nothing would change. If life never changes, you sometimes just want to get all the fucking pain out at once, in the hopes that you'll program yourself to stay away from whatever pattern led you there. It doesn't work... but what does? You can stay positive and upbeat and advise the rest of the world and feel like nothing bad will ever happen to you, but it's not realistic. Life is tough, and people suffer. Sometimes the ritual of auto-mutilation is just for an endorphin rush, and sometimes it's a cry for help. Either way, if you aren't dead yet, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And if you're doing it for attention well, you got it didn't you. I personally think it's a lot better to blow stuff up when you're feeling like that, but I can't get my hands on the necessary explosives. That would be such an awesome rave. The last one (finally). la science est basé sur l'observation de phénomène. Quand on as observé que 7 auto-mutilé sur 10 se sont suicidé en 1980 et que 5 sur 10 en 1990 (suivit de médicamentation et psychologique avec les personnes atteintes d'un toc auto-mutilatoire) ca fuckin crève les yeux. c'est clair que la tite madame qui trip sur les piercing et les tattoos dans sa cervelle se dit que c'est ''normal'' jusqu'au jour où qu'à tombera sur quelqu'un qui s'auto-mutile jusqu'à la veine. |

No seriously, my father is a psychologist specialized in developement psychology wich means adolescent psychology and stuff. HE actually wrote a paper about self-mutialtion. Girls do it more than men in our society, alot more. There is multiple reason for people to do that kind of shit. I'm not an expert myself but i once browse throught some books on the subject and had discussion with people that trys to answer these kind of questions for a living. Why adolescent girls cut themselves? Most of the time, it's to attract attention to the fact that they're not well somehow. It's not a problem in itself. It's a symptom of another problem and it's a way of telling te world that they need help. Lots of the time it's also a way to show that they are someone. I mean, there is no real problem present. They dont even cut themselve so seriously. But, the person concerned wants to be perceived as a glamourous troubled mind. Some do this not even so consciously, they really think they are insane or else. Some people are really totally crazy and needs medical attention because they'll harm themselves badly because they think that they have cybernetic implants in them. Some people will cut themselves ALOT because it's the only way for them to feel something. But that's another story. It's a srieously mental illness that usually reveal itself in people in the begining of adulthood. And in htat very case, i * think * that statiscally, there is more men than women involved lol. But, for whatever reason a 15yr old girl cut herself, even if it's not super serious and all, it should be taken very seriously. Because in some cases, they dont do it because it's just a fashionable thing to do. We live in a bizarre world. The real question is... why do I cut girls ? hahahahahah joking |

bon je disais qu'il y a une nuance entre slappé le cul prennons exemple d'un homme dominant et matcho qui pendant une baise slap le cul de sa partenaire. Deux options s'offre: elle trip elle dis rien. elle aime pas et lui ''dont fuckin do that again'' c'est la nuance avec le type qui s'automutile. Il est conscient du mal physique, de la marque qu'il s'inflige. Si l'homme demande à la femme ''j'peux te spanker?'' et qu'elle répond oui, j'aime ca, fine! comme le tattoo, le piercing et j'en passe... l'automutilation, dans 98% des cas c'est un acte néfaste d'auto destruction. Le tattoo ca fait mal, ouais, mais habituellement c'est créatif, pensé et consulté. méchante nuance, demandez a luke peril, il en connait bcp sur la matière.
